| Description | : | The American Oystercatcher (Heamatopus pilleatus) has become our "Nemesis Bird" in our last few trips to Florida. They just seem to keep their distance -- a l-o-o-o-ng distance -- from our lenses. This one looked like it might venture closer, but was scared off by low-flying American Bald Eagles. |
