| Description | : | A sweet sight indeed! We had just shown up at the Galt nesting site, where our friend George (also an early riser) pointed out one of the young Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) perched on a low railing of the retirement home across from its nest. The hawk had apparently spent the night on the same railing. It gave us an excellent opportunity for some portraiture.
