| Description | : | We'd seen this magnificent Red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) several times in the same location after we had photographed Peregrine Falcons (Falco peregrinus). We thought he might be willing to sit for several images ... but he acted just like all the other Red-Tailed Hawks we've come across -- as soon as you get out of your vehicle, he's off like a shot! We did manage some flight shots, however. Thank you, Mr. Red-Tail.
