Description | : | Every now and then during our "Raptor Count" in rural Southern Ontario, we'll come across an accommodating raptor -- either a young bird, or one very intent on a meal. The latter was the case for this Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) which allowed us to get closer than normal as it devoured a mouse for lunch.
