| Description | : | This was the first Great Egret (Ardea alba, Casmerodius albus) we spotted this spring in the Toronto area. Then we thought .... Could it be one of the Great Egrets we photographed on our February Florida expedition? Perhaps he should pick a faster airline for his northward trek from winter migration grounds.
