| Description | : | This was one of the cutest couples we came across. Once we ventured just a bit too close, the male Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) immediately rushed to the side of the female and stretched his body to keep a more watchful eye on the intruding Snowbirds. Cape Coral, Florida.
