| Description | : | Imagine our surprise when, nearing the end of an outing at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, this magnificent Red-Shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus) landed on the railing of a boardwalk about 15 feet away from us. The hawk perched for several minutes before heading for a nearby tree to survey his breakfast options.
