Anstruther is steeped in history and nearly every building in the village tells a story. Besides many historic places and buildings it has a double award-winning fish and chip shop, Anstruther Fish Bar, which won Fish and Chip shop of the year in 2001-2002 & was awarded the same prize once again, by Sea Fish Organisation, in 2009, as well as other fine fish and non-fish takeaways, and relaxed and formal dining restaurants.
We visited that famouse Fish bar in 1997. The Fish and Chips that they sell were outstanding!!! |
