| Description | : | Wow! Finally, a mid-air duel between two magnificent American Bald Eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus). It was a sight we had witnessed from a long distance in the past, but this fight offered us a great photo op. When we mentioned we had witnessed the fight to a couple of local beach-goers, one of them stated: "That's why they're American ... they're fighting!" To which we responded: "Ah, we thought it was because they're bald!"
