Description | : | These Reddish Egrets (Egretta rufescens) had a squabble over territory at Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. It involved mainly posturing and ruffling of feathers, ending with one beating a retreat to the other side of a pond. We thought we were lucky to see these egrets one at a time. Can you imagine the delight of having two together?
