| Description | : | On a recent trip to Florida, we came across this marvelous Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) in Lovers Key State Park, just minutes from our hotel. We were excited at finding this species, as all our opportunities to photograph this species in Southern Ontario were less than "close encounters of the bird kind." In days to come, during visits to the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, we were treated to even more close encounters.
